How to donate

Eager to donate to the Yukon College 2014 Movember Team?

Then find a MoBro or MoSista you know HERE and donate to them directly AND remember to fill out a donation form so we can send you a charitable receipt... or read on for a way to donate online.

This year we have chosen to direct the money we raise to local causes in support of men's health. We will be supporting the following three charities:

a grassroots charity which provides financial support to Yukoners fighting cancer and their families that are caring for them.

just opened in downtown Whitehorse and offers birth control counselling and low-cost contraceptives, STI testing, pap tests, pregnancy testing and options counselling, to youth, men of all ages, and women under 40.

works to raise awareness of prostate cancer and supports prostate cancer research efforts in BC.

You can specify where to direct your donation, or we will split your donation equally between the three local charities.

Nov 3: Campaign Launch

Around 60 folks gathered in the Pit at Ayamdigut campus for the 2014 YC Movember Campaign launch. Pizza, cake and jello helped generate interest while two teams of seven MoBros and MoSistas competed for prizes.

Enterprising MoSistas encouraged the audience to swing the games in their teams' favour by donating change. We had fun and raised $35.50 to kick off the month of facial hair growth.

Team B did much better, but Team A snatched victory by

Team A won beard stylers, temporary hair colour, and a makeup kit
No excuse not to get involved!

Moustache shaped jello and banana bread... creepy or tasty?

Tasty - it would seem
